Animation

I have experimented with all different kind of animation, from programmatic Flash animation and 3d animation in Maya and 3d Studio Max, as well as 2d animation in After Effects.

Here some short animations I did for my VIZA 613 class during the fall of 2005:

For now I will feature one project I did during my fifth semester of undergraduate school in VIZA 611. The animation was created by rotoscoping video frames using a Wacom Tablet. It was part of a class project where six of us in the class created a bizarre story to connect each of our individual pieces theoretically and visually.

The section below includes the beginning and ending transition pieces done by two other students in the class. It's probably quite obvious which part is mine.

I also did the opening and closing credits for the piece as it was played in the Viz Lab end of the year show, Viza Gogo. The entire piece can be viewed here.
